Some of you know that I have a West Highland Terrier called Mackey. He’s a cheeky, grumpy, but lovable little chap, and looks hella cute in a santa outfit (pictured above). It’s almost Christmas and I know many of you reading this have dogs of your own, so here’s a few ideas for gifts you might want to get your dog, or the dog lover, in your life.
Christmas Gifts for Dogs and Dog Owners
For the dog in your life:
Mackey absolutely LOVES his Merry Christmas You Filthy Animal Christmas jumper from BooHoo! Doesn’t he look stylish and festive?! Boohoo have an awesome range of dog jumpers available, so your pooch can look fabulous not only at Christmas, but whenever a chill hits!
If your dog is into the more luxury things in life, or their owner is partial to a bit of bubbly, this Champagne dog toy* from Marks and Spencer would be a great gift!
Something your dog will love (but hungover family members and neighbours may not!) is this Noisy pig dog toy* from Marks and Spencer
If your dog love a good tug of war, they will love this Fred and Ginger duck rope toy* from John Lewis!
Mackey is crazy about fish, and I’ll definitely be picking up some of these Lily’s Kitchen Fish Skin Chews* from Waitrose for a festive treat!
Store your pets toys in this gorgeous Personalised dog toy box* from EllieEllieLtd on Etsy (these guys are actually Hove based, so if you live in the area, you’ll be supporting a local business, too!)
Keep your pooch squeaky clean with this shea butter Doggy soap on a rope* from HoundsofEden on Etsy
For the dog lover in your life:
We saw Forever Foxed at the Brighton Etsy Christmas market, and although they didn’t have it in stock, I’ll soon be ordering this Life is Merrier With a West Highland Terrier print*, and I know that any other Westie owner would LOVE this as a gift, too.
Keep cosy this winter with these adorable Dog mule slippers* from Marks and Spencer
Marks and Spencer go Westie crazy every Christmas, and this Westie dog and friend tray*, tea towel*, and placemat and coasters* from Marks and Spencer are perfect gifts for those who love West Highland Terriers!
And who can forget Buster from the John Lewis ad? You can get these super cute Buster the Boxer pyjamas* from John Lewis – don’t they look snuggly?!
What have you bought your pet for Christmas? And is there anything you have bought the dog owner (/lover) in your life? Let me know in the comments below!
NB: Most of these gifts are ALMOST like dogs – not just for Christmas. I’m a full supporter that dogs themselves should not be Christmas gifts, and I also support the idea of adopt don’t shop.
Disclaimer: Boohoo.com gifted Mackey with his lovely Christmas jumper (thanks guys!) and I have also included some affiliate links in this post – these are marked with an asterisk. By shopping using my affiliate links you will be supporting my blog. Thanks!
