Clipper Dandelion and Burdock Tea

Now I love Dandelion and Burdock. I love the fizz, I’ve tried the sweeties, I’ve had the alcoholic drink and I’ve had the squash. Β For some the taste of this retro drink is not something to their taste – I’ve known those who have said that it tastes medicinal. I love it though!Β When I saw the tea I knew I had to try it. Clipper make an organic dandelion and burdock tea, and if I remember rightly I picked this up in Sainsburys.

Dya like my mug? It’s from Matilda: The Musical. I went earlier in the year and loved it. I must go again soon!

Anyhow, I boiled the kettle and gave it a try. Delish. Very soothing if you could call it that. A nice relaxing, caffeine free tea, with that yummy Dandelion and Burdock taste. And it’s not too overwhelming, but strong enough that you don’t have to brew it for too long, which I’m glad about πŸ™‚ The main ingredient of this tea is one of my favourite flowers: hibiscus, which I think makes it even better!

I like Clipper tea and also regularly drink the sleep easy tea. I don’t find that it helps me 100% to sleep but it at least helps me to relax as part of my sleep routine. I like to drink hot chocolate but sleep easy tea has zero calories (or a trace, but you know what I mean!) as it’s pretty much flavoured water.

A big thumbs up from me…. just need to find the perfect cake to have with a cup of this! Yum.

  1. I love Dandelion and Burdock, I MUST try this!

I really need to get back in to teas, I drink far too much diet coke and it's bad for me, tea would be good πŸ™‚

    1. I love tea! I'm not mega keen on fizzy drinks so cannot imagine drinking lots of diet coke or anything like that, tea is great and there are so many great flavours and types to try πŸ™‚
