I knew that I wanted to decorate my paper storage unit and I love bunting, so decided to make some using paper doilies and my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. I recently upgraded my software to the designer edition which gives me more flexibility over the shapes I can use, file types and being able to edit the images to my needs.
I used an svg file to cut the outer bunting part (the blue part) and then cut the triangles on the machine using Stampin Up cardstock. The ‘create’ letters were cut using a font just typed out onto the Silhouette software and cut on white, blue and coral cardstock (all Stampin Up). The stars were remnants from cutting this file (I love it) from the Silhouette online store which I then added glitter to with Stickles.
I stuck it all together and added the doilies to the back. I then strung the separate pieces onto string and hung it onto my storage unit, fastening it with sticky tape.
