Vegan Orange and Cardamom Matcha Green Tea Biscuits

  • 180 grams plain flour
  • 100 grams caster sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Whittards instant orange and cardamom matcha green tea
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 110 grams vegan margarine
  • 60 grams non-dairy milk of choice


  1. Whisk together all of the dry ingredients in a bowl until well mixed
  2. Add vegan margarine to the bowl and cream into dry ingredients
  3. Slowly add non-dairy milk and mix ingredients to form dough (this will be slightly wet)
  4. Refrigerate dough for at least one hour
  5. Once dough has rested for at least an hour, spoon onto lined baking sheets and place in a 180 degrees celcius pre-heated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes
  6. When golden, remove from oven and place biscuits on cooling rack to cool down
  7. Once cool, enjoy.
  8. Storage recommendation: ensure biscuits are stored in a water-tight container in a cool, dark place
