May is one of my favourite months, mainly because there are two Bank Holidays, not going to lie! And on the first Bank Holiday weekend (29th April – 1st May), Brighton Foodies Festival will be in town! I really enjoy heading to Hove Lawns with my partner and dog, and having a good look around the stalls, watching some top chefs cooking delicious things, and having a look at everything that’s on offer. One of the things people ask me about when I tell them that I don’t eat dairy, is “don’t you miss cheese?” – and to a lot of people’s disappointment, I tell them that I don’t. I was never really keen on cheese, but I know that a lot of people who stop eating dairy do miss it.
