When in Tesco the other day I spotted this gem, and thought I’d give it a try. I’d tried chocolate tea before, and I love hot chocolate so thought I’d give this a go. Those of you who know me personally will know that I am a complete and utter chocaholic so it was a must-try.

I decided to take this tea with rice milk, I’ve been drinking it more as I am trying to cut down on drinking soy milk. It smells of custard and tastes an awful lot like it too. Not that it’s a bad thing. I don’t find that it hits my chocolate button and def won’t be drinking it when I have a chocolate craving, instead I’ll continue to reach for a mug of hot chocolate. However, I will def enjoy it as something different than my usual brew, and recommend it to you to give it a try.

This Tesco chocolate tea* comes in packs of 50 bags for £1.79 and was purchased with my own money.

  1. I bought some of this because I thought it sounded like the perfect balance between a guilt-free cuppa and delicious hot chocolate. Sad to say I wasn't impressed, and the other 49 bags are currently banished to the back of the larder… Definitely going to stick with hot chocolate!
