I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of the long-awaited Brighton Meat Liquor and the wait was well worth it!
We were treated to a wide selection of much of the food that was going to be offered at the restaurant, including delicious mini versions of the favourite burgers – the infamous ‘Dead Hippy’ and the yummy, vegetarian friendly halloumi and mushroom burger! I have to admit though that my favourites were the deep fried pickles (I lost count of how many I had, oops!) and the Monkey Fingers which were smothered in amazing buffalo sauce. Oh, and the MASSIVE onion rings! Yum.
I don’t have tons of photos to share as let’s just say that had to sample each of the cocktails on offer numerous times, but I have amazing memories at least and have been making everyone I know go there, hehe.
You can find Meat Liquor on York Place, which is by the Hobgoblin pub and I highly recommend it to everyone… my tummy is rumbling for some deep fried pickles right now….
