Fat Quarter Book Blog Tour – New Craft Books Reviewed

Fat Quarter Quick Makes Home crafts

This year I vowed to myself to get more crafty. I’ve always been into crafting since I remember, mainly papercrafts, but I’ve also dabbled in other media, including making a dress. Let me tell you a little about 2 new books I’ve recently been reading, and how they will help you to make things from the fabric stash you already have! Plus, I’ll let you know what’s on my to-craft list from them …

Great New Fat Quarter Craft Book Releases

There’s two new craft books on the market, and they’re all to do with making the most of your fabric stash! I’m all for stash-busting; there’s way too much crafting stuff in our study/craft room right now, and I’ve been giving some bits I don’t use to charity, but there’s materials that I can’t bear to say goodbye to, which is where these books come in!

If you have a lot of fabric at home, or have remnants left over, these books are ideal for you. There are lots of quick makes and also lots of really functional items which would make good gifts for someone else, or indeed yourself! These two books are suitable for beginner to intermediate sewers, like myself.
