I thought I’d attempt a little monthly summary post – who knows whether I will continue this, but I’m hoping to make it a tradition, as well as making sure that I update my blog more often.
Anyhow, welcome to 2015. How has yours been so far? Mine has been super busy, and there’s lots more to come for me this year, I’m sure of it. Here’s what I’ve been enjoying during January 2015…
Food at hen, Brighton
I’ve already discovered a new eatery in Brighton, which I think will be on my list of favourites, and that is hen. It’s a chicken restaurant, serving happy, ethical chicken, either grilled or fried, with a choice of delicious sides.
In the photos above I had home made cranberry lemonade to drink, a quarter of fried chicken, with sweet potato fries and a zesty kale salad. Delish!
Enjoying Live Music
I was lucky enough to get hold of a ticket to Slipknot’s ‘Prepare for Hell Tour’ date at Wembley, London. I was super chuffed to go to this, as they are one of my favourite bands and were joined by the amazing Korn! On the night I went, the two bands got together and covered Beastie Boys ‘Sabotage’, which was mind blowing. I’m still buzzing about the gig a week and a half later!
Friends Producing Pretty Things

My friend Leslieanne recently released the above gorgeous cards – I had to snap a set up and support my friend. They’d be perfect to pop into a planner, hang on your wall, or send to a friend if they are feeling down. Super cute. I think my favourite card is the Nutella one!
Unicorn Themed Lucky Dip Club Boxes
If you don’t like unicorns, there must be something wrong with you. Honestly. I think so? Anyhow. As always, I’ve loved this month’s Lucky Dip Club box. Next month’s went up for sale this morning for non-subscribers, and it sold out in an hour, I believe! Madness. I’m excited to see what next month has to bring as it’s going to have some thing(s) designed by Living In La La Land, which is a shop I absolutely adore.
What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below!
