I’m writing this sitting on my own bed in my own place (OK, rented, but I’ll be a home owner again one day!), glad to be not sharing a place any more. There’s still lots to do to the place to make it feel more homely, and I thought I’d share some of the home decor ideas and inspiration that I like currently.
I’m loving the neon lampshade at MADE.COM (£29), aren’t they lovely? The larger rooms in my flat have 2 ceiling lights, so I wouldn’t have to choose between pink and blue, score.

As a big fan of watermelon (how is tastes, looks, smells…) I think this watermelon duvet set from Asda is a must buy!
This Aurelia wall clock, by MADE.COM is gorgeous in both silver and copper. I think I’m loving the copper slightly more, and they are a stylish steal at £29!
I’m a big fan of Primark, and this pretty pastel bath mat is just £6!
These PT Fluor Pink* (£32.35) and Pistachio* (£23.63) vases would look great with flowers in or placed on a shelf or desk in a craft room, storing all kinds of bits and bobs. Wouldn’t the colours look so good with all of the craft materials which are currently on trend?!

As well as things to buy, as a crafter I’m really inspired by things to do. I really love this guide on How To Style A Corner Gallery Wall by Elsie Larson at A Beautiful Mess. As my kitchen and living room are conjoined, it’s important for me to be able to split the spaces as much as I can, and having a corner gallery wall would be an ideal way to highlight the living room section and also show off lots of art at the same time.
What homeware have you been lusting after recently? Is there anything you’d love to show me or share with others you think they’d like? Or do you have a home decor or DIY tutorial on your own blog or website? I’d love to see it! Link me up or tell me about it in the comments below!
