The lovely people at Scarlett jewellery in Hove kindly invited me and some other Brighton bloggers along to their studio to meet their team and see some of their gorgeous jewellery in person.
It’s not often that I get given flowers – I don’t do Valentines, I’ve not bought a car for a while, and I don’t teach anymore, so there aren’t many options for the gift givers in my life to buy them for me. That doesn’t mean that I can’t give them to other people, or to myself!
Christmas is Coming!
I can’t believe how close Christmas is now – my work Christmas do is on Friday and I’ve got my dress (from Collectif), my nails booked (at Final Nail in Brighton), and my blow dry booked in (at the fab Forde Hair on Brighton’s North Street).
There are still a few gifts to get though – come on, we can’t all be super organised!! If you’re still looking for something to get people in your life who may love crafting, baking, or similar things, then you’re in luck! I’ve come up with a nifty gift guide which should be able to help with at least a couple of people. And for me, when I see something someone else has discovered, my efficiency-seeking brain gets happy – more time for me, more time for craft, more time for baking, and more time for Netflix!
Anyway, let’s get on with the goodies.
Father’s Day is just around the corner and although quite a few people that I know don’t really celebrate it, I thought it would be nice to share some items that people could make or buy to give if they do celebrate. There are some really cool handmade things out there for Dads, it’s just sometimes you have to have a bit of a dig around. I’m hoping this post will mean that you won’t have to do that as much.
