Utama Spice Danau Satu Essential Oil Diffuser Review

Utama Spice Essential Oil Diffuser Review and Competition

Essential oil diffusers have grown in popularity over the past year or so, and I’ve become pretty interested in them myself after seeing so many people enjoy using them at home. My only experience of using essential oils before had been way back in the 90s when my friends and I used to have ‘oil burners’ (usually from The Body Shop or a local ‘hippy shop’) in which we’d heat using tea lights. Thankfully, things have moved on from then!

The lovely people at Utama Spice got in touch with me to see if I wanted to review their ‘Danau’ essential oil diffuser, and also to give one away to readers of my blog – read on for my review, and also the details on how to win a ‘Danau’ diffuser of your own.

Ben and Jerry’s First Non Dairy (Vegan) Scooper Club

Ben & Jerry's Non Dairy Scooper Club

Ben & Jerry’s have really stolen part of my vegan heart since they launched their non-dairy ice creams in September 2017. So when I received the invite to their first non dairy Scooper Club (see what they did there?!), I knew I HAD TO GO. The evening’s menu was to be devised by Gaz Oakley (AKA Avant-Garde Vegan), and Pixie from Plant Based Pixie, and I had my assumptions that the food would be based around the Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy flavours, but I was already trying to figure out what the food would involve.

Purezza – Brighton and London Vegan Pizza Review

Purezza Best Vegan Pizza in Brighton

I’ve been going to Purezza since they first launched, and they’ve gone through quite a few menu improvements and physical restaurant improvements over the last couple of years. However, I’d not been since the last facelift, so was excited to be invited to give their newest menu a try! And yes, I brought my non-vegan co-diner with me!

Now, Purezza sell themselves as ‘plant pioneers’ – unlike some of the vegan pizza places in Brighton that I’ve previously reviewed (such as Morelli Zorelli and Fatto a Mano), Purezza is purely plant based, so everything served there is vegan. So if you’re vegan, have dairy or egg allergy or intolerance, you need not worry about cross contamination or anything like that – Purezza is safe for you. They also have lots of lovely gluten free options, so if you’re a gluten free vegan, or just looking for good gluten free pizza in Brighton, you’re in luck here!

Vegan Ready Made Cocktails in a Can!

vegan canned cocktails

I don’t drink an awful lot, but when I do, I obviously have to make sure that what I’m drinking is vegan friendly! And now that BBQ and festival season is here, having canned drinks is really helpful as you can just grab a premade cocktail and go! That’s where SkinnyBrands cocktails come in. Yes, these drinks are ‘diet’ – if you know me, I actually don’t care how many calories are in these things, or the fact that they have a certain amount of calories in them. But having something you know is vegan, tastes good, and is portable… that’s what I’m into! Want to know how I found these new cocktails on the block? Read on…
