I was lucky enough to be invited to the combined 30th anniversary of Total Greek Yoghurt being in the UK and the launch of their new TV ad. Myself and a few other lovely people were treated to a master class with Eric Lanlard where we got to decorate our own cakes and then in the evening sip cocktails and celebrate with the Total team. It was great fun and I learnt some new skills to make my cakes look a bit more presentable – whether or not it shows in the cake that I decorated is down to you!
So, on with the photos, courtesy of the Total Greek team:
This is what greeted us when we arrived – a beautiful Greek feeling room with tables all decked out ready for our class with the fabulous Eric Lanlard.
Here is Eric with the cake that he had decorated and it was now up to us to decorate our own!
Here I am in action:
And here I am with my finished cake:
(yes, I know that I need to sort my hair out like crazy but I’m short of both time and money so it’ll have to wait 🙁 But can you see that I’m wearing the dress that I made myself? Super proud!)
After we’d finished with our cakes, the space was transformed ready for the party to celebrate Total Greek Yoghurt’s 30th anniversary here in in the UK. It was kicked off in style with a cooking demonstration by the stunning Tonia Buxton:
We then partied the night away drinking Greek inspired cocktails and eating delicious canapes and treats.
Of course, my favourites were the sweet treats, but the olive tapenade bites were scrummy too!
It was then time for myself and Sarah to navigate our way back to Sussex with our cakes, bags and other such things on the trains and to crash out. I am so grateful to have been invited to this fab event and to have met such fab people as Sarah (Sussex Mummy), Laura (Healthy Sugar Habits), Philippa (Skinny Latte Strikes Back) and Yuri (Urban Vox) all of whom I hope to see again very soon.
It was great fun and thank you re the cake! What's your favourite food?
