Bake: Chocolate Ganache Cake
I am known in my office for my cakes and it has become a habit for me to bake when there are birthdays, people leaving etc. Last week I baked a lemon drizzle bundt cake which went down incredibly well and as it is one of the guys in my department’s birthdays today (and a big one at that since he is just short of 6 months younger than me) I thought I’d bake something for him!
Meat Free February – Week 1
At the start of this month I decided to challenge myself to not eat meat for a month. I ignored the mockery from some people and thought that instead I would be strong and see if I could do it. I have less than a week left, so decided to share with you what I’ve been eating. I haven’t got pictures from every single day as I was away in Manchester last week and was out on Friday and Saturday this week and have excuses from other times, but don’t worry I’ve not slipped up once!

Home Made Vegan Hob Nob Biscuits
I love a good biscuit and Hob Nobs are one of my favourite types. However, I sometimes find them a bit too salty and dry. Whilst on the Moneysavingexpert Old Style board many a year ago (I don’t go on there as often any more) I found this awesome recipe for Hob Nob style biscuits and I thought that I would share it with you!
Halloween Themed Crafts
I love Halloween even though I don’t usually ‘celebrate’ it in the expected way with dressing up, parties and more. Instead I like to wait until the holiday is over and the Halloween decor is reduced! I have always had a love for skulls and all things spooky and don’t like limiting myself to having it for a short time at a certain point in the year!
However, I realise that a lot of people are not as into having spooky things up and around all year round but still enjoy making and creating things to decorate their homes and serve at Halloween parties and I have found some awesome things around the internet for you to make and enjoy!
